Information on your Mac

ottiyo stores imported statement originals, transactions, tags, profile details, receipts, OCR text, rules, workspaces, audit history and recovery copies in its local library. This release has no developer analytics, advertising, tracking, hosted AI or active cloud sync. OCR uses Apple Vision on your device.

Website analytics

This website uses Statcounter to help us understand visits and use of the site. Each page loads an external Statcounter script, or a tracking image when JavaScript is disabled. This website analytics integration is separate from the ottiyo Mac app and does not give Statcounter access to your local financial library.

When information leaves the app

You choose where exports and backups are saved, and whom to share them with. A folder you choose may be synced by another service. Official guidance links open in your browser, under the destination’s privacy practices. The app does not send your library to Elmbridge Advantage.

If you email support, Elmbridge Advantage receives the contact details and material you send, to respond to your request. Avoid sending bank statements or receipt images unless necessary. Email providers process those messages. Contact us for access, correction or deletion of support correspondence. Support retention and service-provider details must be finalised before public release.

Your controls

Manage records in the app. Export or back up before deleting. Settings → Reset removes app-held records, originals, recovery copies and preferences from the active library. It does not securely erase disk storage or delete your separately exported files, external backups, or preserved failed libraries. macOS permissions and device security also protect your files.

Release scope

This information describes the supplied local beta. A public policy and a confirmed support retention policy are required before App Store submission. Material changes such as optional cloud services would require updated disclosures.
